Golf El Puerto is situated about 5 km from Hotel Monasterio Miguel. The course has 18 holes with personality and a proper identity where the terrain has been created with plenty of water in the shape of lakes and streams. The golf course is difficult but very rewarding and accesible for players at all levels. Without blind holes, but those being protected by lakes and rivers and much more. This is definately a golf course for fun and acchieving sports goals with the background of a beautifull small village. This is the result of the work of Golf Course designer Manuel Pinero and must be a course of sufficient longtitude of 6.300 meters.

The variety, dificulties and movement of the golf course is some of the factors that characterises the Golf el Puerto course, permitting all level golfers to enjoy this golf course, from beginners level to the very professional champions are playing on this course. On the very highest level of the course you encounter the club house and hotel and this area also is the exit to the holes 1 and 10 as well as 9 and 18 as a modern golf course with practise area, greens, bunkers and chipping green, etc.

Hotel Monasterio San Miguel Is situated in the middle of the village, about 5 minutes from the beach, and 10 minutes from Jeres and the airport. Furthermore the hotel is situated 15 minutes from the Palacio de Congresos de Cadiz, and approximately one hour from the airport of Sevilla.

Hotel Rooms: This antigue monestary of the 18th century has been restored into a hotel with 165 rooms with complete bathroom , hairdryer, minibar, Safe, satellite tv, wireless internet and hotel telephone .

Service and Installations: The Hotels restaurant “Las Bovedas” with a traditional kitchen, cafeteria, bar, social lounges, tv lounge, pool, hotel garden and tanning terass, hotel garage, auditorium, convent, and great views of the beach.

Cheap Hotels Spain

The whole idea about this page is to make some info available for the readers on golf holidays and property buying in Spain. That is why I am currently making a list of most or hopefully all golf hotels in Spain as well as a little overview of nearby courses hotels. Below and in the future you are able to check out the hotel structure of these lists. The idea is then that you will be able to go to the hotel “Categories”, and click “Golf Courses” and then the area you are looking to travel to or the hotel. Then you should have quite a good overview of the golf hotels in the area, as well as what the hotels offer, how many hotel stars, restaurants, some info on the rooms and so on. Im putting quite a bit of work into this, so it will take a while to complete hotels, but I will try to finish the areas first. This hotel means that I cant offer any information on i.e. Hotels in Catalunya at the moment, but all Hotels in Almeria and Hotels in Cadiz and their golf courses should now be available.

As you can see below, I dont get a lot of “targeted” golf hotel traffic yet, but I sure hope that this will increase soon. The course is designed by the Dutch golf course designer Alan Rijks, and the course is situated on the Costa del Chiclana with an area of 80 hectares. The course is a par 72  in one of the most beautiful rural area of typical Andalucian type.
